J A Alcock & Son is a clock restoration, conservation and repair workshop at the Harley Foundation Studios on the Welbeck estate near Worksop. It is run by Ross Alcock FBHI, who trained at the School of Jewellery in Birmingham and has around 20 years in horology. The workshop restores mechanical clocks, makes replacement parts, makes house calls and gives talks and valuations. It also runs courses in clock servicing and hand skills.
