Restorer.com is a directory that helps people find specialists who repair, restore and care for buildings and objects.

By using Restorer.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

2. About Restorer.com

Restorer.com is a directory and information service.

We may publish listings for businesses and specialists based on publicly available information, information submitted to us, or information provided by a business claiming or managing its listing.

Restorer.com is not a marketplace, is not a lead auction platform, and is not a party to any contract, agreement, conversation, quote, or work arranged between a user of the site and a listed business.

Any agreement for restoration or related work is between the customer and the relevant business, not with Restorer.

Unless we clearly say otherwise, a listing on Restorer.com does not mean that Restorer has approved, certified, endorsed, guaranteed, or independently verified every aspect of a listed business.

If we ever feature, prioritise, label, or otherwise present listings differently because of a commercial relationship, advertisement, or similar arrangement, we will aim to identify this clearly.

3. Using the site

You may use Restorer.com only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

use the site in a way that breaches any law or regulation
misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or try to gain unauthorised access to it
use the site to transmit spam, malicious code, or harmful material
copy, scrape, harvest, or extract substantial amounts of data from the site by automated or systematic means without permission
submit false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing information
impersonate another person or business
attempt to claim a listing without authority

We may suspend, restrict, or remove access to the site, or remove content or listings, if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or if we need to protect the site, users, or listed businesses.

4. Directory listings

Listings on Restorer.com may be created from publicly available information or from information submitted to us.

We may change, reorganise, categorise, limit, or remove listings and profile features from time to time as the site develops.

We aim to present listings in good faith and to take reasonable care over the information shown, but we do not guarantee that every listing is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your needs.

A listing on Restorer.com does not amount to a recommendation, endorsement, certification, approval, or guarantee by Restorer unless we clearly say otherwise.

Users should carry out their own checks before appointing a business. This may include reviewing previous work, speaking to past customers, confirming qualifications or insurance where relevant, and satisfying themselves that the business is right for the job.

5. Claiming and managing listings

A business or authorised representative may be able to claim and manage a listing.

If you claim a listing, you confirm that:

you are authorised to act for that business
the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
you will keep the listing information reasonably up to date
any qualifications, memberships, certifications, registrations, insurance details, service areas, experience claims, and other factual statements you submit are truthful and not misleading
you will notify us within a reasonable time if there is a material change affecting the accuracy of the listing or your authority to manage it

We may ask for reasonable evidence to verify a claim. This may include verification by business email, website domain, documents, or other supporting information.

We may review listings, complaints, feedback, and other information that comes to our attention and may take action where we consider it appropriate.

Inclusion in the directory is at Restorer’s discretion and may depend on relevance to the purpose and standards of the site. We may refuse, delay, suspend, or remove a claim where we are not satisfied that the claimant is authorised, where information appears inaccurate or misleading, or where the listing does not meet the purpose or standards of the site.

6. Information submitted to us

If you submit information to Restorer.com, including claim details, profile information, photographs, or other materials, you confirm that:

you have the right to provide that information
the information is not false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful
the information does not infringe another person’s intellectual property or other rights

You remain responsible for the information you submit.

By submitting content to Restorer.com, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, store, format, publish, and display that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the site.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in Restorer.com, including the site design, text, graphics, branding, and original editorial content, belong to Restorer or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

You may view and use the site for personal or internal business use only.

Restorer does not provide restoration, legal, surveying, insurance, or other professional advice through the site, and nothing on the site should be relied on as a substitute for your own enquiries, inspection, or independent advice.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend, or withdraw any part of Restorer.com at any time.

As Restorer develops, some features and profile tools may evolve or change as part of the platform’s ongoing development.

We do not guarantee that the site, or any part of it, will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may update listings, categories, descriptions, features, and editorial content from time to time.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

any indirect, consequential, or business loss, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or opportunity

If you are using the site as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects rights you may have under consumer law.

the content of a listing
a listed business, where the complaint relates to that business’s presence on Restorer.com

We may investigate complaints and other concerns that come to our attention and, where appropriate, request further information, update content, require corrections, restrict visibility, suspend claims, remove profile content, delist a business, or take other reasonable action.

We are not required to resolve disputes between users and listed businesses, but we may review information provided to us where it is relevant to a listing’s continued presence on the site.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. By continuing to use the site after changes take effect, you agree to the revised terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring a claim in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
