fraus is a furniture restoration and upholstery workshop in Cellardyke, Anstruther, run by Mark Kinghorn, serving Edinburgh, Lothian, Fife, Stirlingshire and Perthshire. It takes on everything from simple repairs to complex restoration and conservation of antique, vintage and modern furniture, including French polishing, colour matching, removing marks and dents from finishes, veneer and marquetry repairs, and restoring or remaking broken parts. The workshop also re-upholsters furniture, replaces broken springs and webbing, and hand-weaves cane and rush seats. Removable cane and rush seats can also be posted in from anywhere in the UK.
