Andrew Brind Ltd is a firm of architectural blacksmiths and metal fabricators based at Elvington near York, led by a blacksmith with more than 24 years' experience who trained under master blacksmith Don Barker. Its team has worked on restoration projects for national conservation groups and private customers nationwide, from small repairs to full-scale restorations of cast iron, wrought iron and mild steel metalwork. With more than 300 railheads in its catalogue, it also replaces missing cast iron railheads, posts and railings. It makes traditionally forged gates and railings in Georgian, Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles and installs railings using the traditional lead method.
